![]() ![]() There's plenty of cheaper waccoms, huion makes some good ones as well. I guess one of my biggest things is you don't need anything fancy starting out, don't gotta get the waccom cintiq with the screen on it or an ipad or something like that. ![]() I have no knowledge outside of there are different kinds of pads or tablets or whatever, and kinda just wanna make sure I'll be on the right track with my research before really getting into it. Once I buy whatever, most other stuff I can just get for free online (youtube tutorials, random guides, ect), so that's primarily what I'm trying to figure out here. Not necessarily asking for answers, since I figure these questions have been asked a million times and everyone's sick of writing long descriptions (though I'm not against that), but more asking as to what resources I can reliably trust, that I should read in order to buy the right stuff. So yeah, where do I even begin with this? What do I need to buy? Is there a good guide that you experienced people can recommend as being totally legitimate and helpful in regards to guiding my purchases properly? I don't mind doing a bunch of research or whatever, I just want to know I'm spending that time properly. I looked up some guides that mentioned certain tools that you may use when getting started in digital art, but frankly, I've been fooled by first page google results before in regards to this sort of thing, so I figured I'd ask around on Reddit before really getting into the "popular" articles. Issue is, I have no idea where to even begin. I never cared for physically drawing, what with having shaky hands and not being able to erase mistakes easily, but I'm always on a computer, either for gaming or surfing questionable websites like a total degenerate, so you know, figure that'd be preferable for me. Nothing extreme, and frankly, if I could manage to get to the same level as someone like TGWeaver, I'd already be pretty happy. I've always want to get into drawing, but it was a very passing interest.
